I stayed up until 4am last night, to see The Hunger Games midnight premiere. This is WAY past my bedtime. I think total exhaustion caused me go to into a deep sleep. When I fall into such a deep sleep, it causes me to have very intense, graphic nightmares where someone is trying to harm my family. I rarely fall into such a deep sleep; usually only when I’m sick and have to take Nyquil to fall asleep – which I hate BTW.
So about 6am I woke up in a panic, after forcing myself awake from one of those nightmares. I dreamt that my family and I were at our old house in my hometown, specifically the backyard. But it wasn’t quite the town because there was a lot of people / commotion; we just finished shopping (which in reality, it’s a quiet small town lacking in shopping centers). We were walking back to our car. Suddenly there was chaos. In the middle of it, I screamed out the last name of one of my co-workers, which is really strange since he’s never even heard of my hometown let alone been there.
The co-worker said to get in our car, which we started to do. But, then we noticed that one of my family members wasn’t with us anymore. Somehow, a bank robber ran into the street, and took my relation hostage. He had him in a Cato death grip and somehow had a gun to his chin, threatening to shoot. It was tense moment where the guy was screaming what he wanted everyone to do; if he got his way, no one would get hurt. My co-worker frantically tells us to hide behind the car’s tires.
Just then, someone calls my fucking cell phone. The volume was LOUD, probably 3 times louder than it is in reality; plus was some annoying song that I’ve never heard of before. It startles the robber, who accidently pulls the trigger!

I woke up in a cold sweat. The weird thing was I could still hear the fucking song. It took me a minute or 2 to realize that was just a dream and the song was not actually playing.
It made it really hard to fall back asleep
